I have owned several of the lovely Olympus Trip cameras. They were a pretty famously well design product of their time. Easily letting anyone take great photos with a compact camera.
However if you have a working one, enjoy it while you can. These cameras use a selenium cell, which while a great way to measure exposure without need for batteries, eventually die.
It just so happens that I had one of these such cameras. It also had some issues with a sticky shutter.
I had recently bought a mirrorless digital camera off a friend, so this seemed like a perfect idea for a project. I laser cut a little adapter and used a reversing ring for the samsung NX mount. I also added a little spring to keep the aperture open.
