I recently had the pleasure of helping organise, in a small part, Electromagnetic Field 2014. Along side that I also did the majority of the design work.
Electromagnetic Field itself deserves its own blog post, which I am already working on and will be out in its own due time. Whats really nice about doing design work for a festival is that you get to work on a wide range of items. Better yet, Electromagnetic Field offered up some awesome things to work on to boot.
The festival is toted as being the UKs Biggest Technology Festival. What that means is that at its core the talks, workshops and various going on are principally routed in Technology. However in reality it covers a whole range of creativity, making, crafting and hacking.
This meant that I got to work on some really cool stuff, including a coin design for Milliways and the silk screen for the badge TiLDA. Not to mention the usual items like posters, flyers, wrist bands and an info booklet.
